Tuesday Stitch Club | Weekly After School Sewing Club | Age 7+

£130.00

This Stitch Club session runs on a Tuesday after school, 4-6pm for age 7+.

This term booking is for Tuesday in the Winter term; from October half term to Christmas.  Our first session back is Tuesday 5th November - inclusive until Tuesday 17th December (7 week block).

What does Stitch club involve?

Stitch club teaches children how to sew and use a sewing machine.

We may do hand sewing from time to time but the majority of the sessions will involve using a machine.

Sewing machines are provided, as is all equipment but we do require you to bring in your own materials for your sewing projects. If your child has a sewing machine, we suggest bringing it with them, so they can learn on their own sewing machine.

Each term the children will undertake a new sewing project, this will vary from home interiors to dressmaking projects. Some will be short projects and others will take a full term to complete. The children will take home everything they make.

How does the sewing club work?

Any children age 7+ can attend. They do not need a parent/guardian to supervise them.

Our sewing tutors are fully insured, first aid qualified and DBS checked.

Minimum/maximum numbers

We have ONE space left available on our Tuesday Stitch Club from after half term.  Please get in touch if you would like to book your child in for this last space.

Please note we do ask all new attendees joining the sewing club to undertake our beginners sewing workshop or a minimum of an hour one to one sewing lesson, in order to teach them the basics of using a sewing machine before they start.

Both sewing workshop and lessons will be chargeable.
