Saturday Stitch Club (monthly) age 7+

Our Stitch Clubs have proven so popular that we are opening up a new sewing club on a Saturday morning.

This club is suitable for those children that can't make it after school, due to other commitments or location.   If you are available after school, please see our other Stitch Clubs (we currently have spaces on a Tuesday and Friday).

Please note that availability for this club will come on a first come, first serve basis.

Our Saturday Stitch Club is open to children age 7 - 17 and will take place on the first Saturday of each month.

.What does the club involve?

The club teaches children how to sew using a sewing machine.  We may do hand sewing from time to time but the majority of the sessions will involve using a machine. Sewing machines are provided, as is all equipment.  If your child has a sewing machine, we do suggest them bringing it with them if possible so they can learn on their own machine.  **Please note materials are not included in the cost, you will be asked to provide these as additional.**

Each session we will undertake a new, sewing project that should be completed within the two hours.  Upon booking you will be notified of what materials you will need for each session.

How does the club work?

We ask for children age 7+ to attend, as they can come without the need for a parent/guardian to supervise. A parent/guardian is welcome to stay for the session/s if they feel necessary but please notify us beforehand.  Our craft tutor is fully insured, first aid qualified and DBS checked and can provide copies of the same should you require them.

Minimum/maximum numbers

There are a maximum of 6 places on each session, a minimum of 2 attendees must be booked on in order for this session to run. Please book your child's space.  Spaces come on a first come, first serve basis.
