Join us over May half term for our next step sewing workshop, for children age 7+.
Sewing Workshop
Your child will learn how to sew curves on a machine, how to gather and how to hand sew in this session and create their very own Daisy Cushion on Thursday 28th May 2026, 10am-1pm.
This sewing workshop is suitable for age 7+. Your child is required to have undertaken our beginners sewing workshop before they book onto this session as at it is a next step level.
Sewing machines and equipment are provided for this workshop but we do not provide material for sewing workshops.
Please ensure your child brings with you:- 3/4 metre of fabric for petals, x1 fat quarter (50x50cm) for inner of daisy, 500g of stuffing & x1 reel of quilted embroidery thread to match.
Parents Staying:
We are a fully DBS checked and insured company, therefore a parent/guardian isn't required to stay with their child.
We are limited on space in our workshop room so if you would like to stay with your child, please also book a workshop ticket.
Additional Extras:
We are now offering brand loyalty cards, book 9 workshops and get the 10th one free. You will be provided with a stamped card on your first workshop.
We do offer a sibling discount when you book more than one ticket, please use code SIBLING10 at check-out for 10% off both tickets.
Emergency Contact Details:
After booking, we will e-mail you a request to fill out a workshop form. Please note this is not automatic and will be e-mailed a week before workshops.
If you have already filled out a workshop form, you will not need to fill out another one unless your details have changed. Please notify us directly if your details do change.
Location:
All workshops take place at 53 Fore Street, Bovey Tracey, TQ139AB.
Where possible please arrive five minutes before the workshop starts and promptly at pick-up.
Minimum & maximum numbers:
Where possible we always endeavour to run our workshops but sometimes it is not cost effective to do so. We therefore ask for a minimum of 4 attendees booked onto our sewing workshops in order for it to go ahead. Our maximum number for sewing workshops is now 8 attendees per session.
If a workshop is fully booked and you would be interested in joining us, please do contact us, if we have enough interest we will do our best to offer an alternative workshop date or time.
This workshop is suitable for age 7+, both children and adults are welcome to attend and we often have a mix of both.
Cancellation Policy:
Please note we do not offer cancellations on our workshops this is due to us requiring minimum numbers in order to run.
We only offer refunds in circumstances where Pom Stitch Tassel has to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
