Our after school craft club for ages 5 - 12.
This is a great starter club for those that may want to move onto Stitch Club when they are old enough and/or for children that just love to craft!
Our Craft Club is held every Wednesday after school 4-5pm, term time only.
This block is to book for the Autumn half term, September to October half term and the dates include as follows: Wednesday 20th & 27th September, 4th, 11th & 18th October 2023. At present we do have a regular few spaces left on our weekly Craft Club, you are welcome to book freely or alternatively if you have any questions please do contact me on emma@pomstitchtassel.com.
What does the after school craft club involve?
The club is craft themed so most weeks we will do a new project or craft to keep the children engaged. Each child will take home everything they make.

What age is this club suitable for?
We often have lot's of requests for children to start Stitch Club but unfortunately they are not old enough to do so, I therefore thought it would be a nice idea to set up a craft club where we can start doing some stitching and other crafts, with the hope that when they are a little older the children can progress onto our sewing clubs.
We also have an audience who are particularly crafty and would much prefer to do this after school. If this sounds like your child then why not join us after school on a Wednesday.
Craft Club is suitable for age 5-12.
How does the after school club work?
We ask for children age 5+ to attend, as they can come without the need for a parent/guardian to supervise. A parent/guardian is welcome to stay for the session/s if they feel necessary but they are not expected to. Our craft tutor is fully insured, first aid qualified and DBS checked and can provide copies of the same should you require them.
Can I book a single session not a term block?
Due to demand for our clubs we have decided to offer a term block only, this is so you can reserve your child's space for the duration of that term, and going forwards if they wish to carry on.
What is the cost?
We charge £12.00 per person, per session when booking ahead for a term block. Weekly single sessions are slightly more at £12.50 per person per session.
Minimum/maximum numbers
In order to run a workshop/club we must have a minimum of 3x people on each session at anyone time. The maximum numbers we can facilitate in the studio are 8 for craft.
Finer details
Where possible please arrive five minutes before the club starts to drop your child/children off and then please arrive prompt at pick-up. Please wait outside the venue door and I will pop down and open the door up.
From the New Year our craft club will take place from our new unit, 53 Fore Street, Bovey Tracey, TQ139AB.

It goes without saying if your child tests positive for Covid-19 or has been with someone that has tested positive, please don't attend the session.
