Wednesday Art Club | Weekly After School Session | Age 5+

£0.00

Our After School Art Club is for children aged 6+ who love getting creative!

We are now taking bookings on a waiting list to start after Half Term. We have 5 spaces left available.

This club is held every Wednesday after school, 5-6:30pm term time only. Children will be learning from professional illustrator, Helen Leslie (find out more about Helen below).

Each term we will work towards a final themed piece of artwork, exploring different media and techniques in each session. Our aim is to encourage children to have fun creating, exploring and experimenting in a supportive environment where they will have the opportunity to try new things, developing their skills and confidence.

Each child will be given a sketchbook in which to base their artwork development and practice. Projects will include drawing and illustration, character development, 3D work, clay sculpture, textile painting, collage, fashion illustration and more. We’ll also use age appropriate cultural references from the art and design world where relevant, to inspire and inform us.

What age is Art Club suitable for?

Art Club is suitable for age 5+.  We have rooms to separate out ages for everyone's enjoyment; age 5-7 in the smaller room and age 8-12 in the larger room.

How does the after school craft club work?

Children aged 5+ can come without the need for a parent/guardian to supervise as our craft tutor is fully insured, first aid qualified and DBS checked and can provide copies should you require them.
