This Stitch Club session runs on a Thursday after school, 4-6pm for age 7-12.
What does Stitch club involve?
Stitch club teaches children how to sew and use a sewing machine. We do hand sewing from time to time but the majority of the sessions will involve learning to operate a sewing machine, of which are provided.
Each term the children will undertake a new sewing project, this will vary from home interiors to dressmaking projects. Some will be short projects and others will take a full term to complete. The children will take home everything they make.
How does the sewing club work?
Any children age 7-12 can attend. They do not need a parent/guardian to supervise them.
Our sewing tutors are fully insured, first aid qualified and DBS checked.
