More info on the club:
The club teaches children how to sew using a sewing machine. We will incorporate hand sewing from time to time but the majority of the sessions will involve using a sewing machine, of which we provide.
Please note materials are not included in the cost, you will be asked to provide these as additional. Upon booking you will be notified of what materials you will need to bring to the session.
How does the sewing club work?
We ask for children age 7+ to attend, as they can come without the need for a parent/guardian to supervise. Our sewing tutors are fully insured, first aid qualified and DBS checked and can provide copies of the same should you require them.
Minimum/maximum numbers
There are a maximum of 8 places on each session, a minimum of 3 attendees must be booked on in order for this session to run. Spaces come on a first come, first serve basis.
Please note we do ask all new attendees joining the club to undertake our beginners sewing workshop or a minimum of an hour one to one sewing lesson, in order to teach them the basics of using a sewing machine before they start. Please bear in mind both the sewing workshop and lesson will be chargeable.
