Join us this Christmas holidays as we collaborate with Just Ginger on Monday 23rd December 2024 for two unique gingerbread workshops.
Our morning session, 10:30am - 12:30pm will involve creating a Gingerbread Wreath making & decorating, suitable for age 7+.
In this workshop you will build & decorate a gingerbread wreath finished size of 13cm diameter. You will each receive a plain gingerbread wreath and a choice of 12 small gingerbread pieces which you will learn to decorate with the festive coloured icing before attaching to the wreath. A final festive spray of edible glitter and a ribbon will complete the wreath.
Our afternoon session, 2-3/3:30pm will involve creating a Gingerbread Family & Scene, this workshop is suitable for age 2-6. We ask that are all children in this session accompanied by an adult (your space is included in the price).
In this workshop you will receive a ready built mini gingerbread house, gingerbread biscuits to create a tree and mini gingerbread to create a Gingerbread family which you will then put together into a scene and decorate with icing, sprinkles & sweeties. This scene will all be secured to an 8" baking board for you to take home and enjoy.
All materials and equipment are provided for these workshops within the cost.
Parents Staying:
For the morning workshop we do not require parents/guardians to stay. We are a fully DBS checked and insured company so you are welcome to drop your children off. If you would like to stay, please book a space also.
For the afternoon workshop we are asking for a parent/guardian to stay with each child as they will need more one to one support. One complimentary parent space is included in the ticket price. Please only purchase 1 ticket to cover you both.
Additional Extras:
We are now offering brand loyalty cards, book 9 workshops and get the 10th one free. You will be provided with a stamped card on your first workshop.
Emergency Contact Details:
After booking, we will e-mail you a request to fill out a workshop form (please note this is not automatic). We ask for these details for emergency contact details, knowledge of any medical conditions and/or allergies, as well as permission to take photographs of your child, purely for marketing purposes.
Once you have filled out this form, you will not need to fill it out again unless your details change. Please notify us directly if your details do change.
Location:
All workshops take place at 53 Fore Street, Bovey Tracey, TQ139AB.
Where possible please arrive five minutes before the workshop starts promptly at pick-up.
Minimum & maximum numbers:
Where possible we always endeavour to run our workshops but sometimes it is not cost effective to do so. We therefore ask for a minimum of 5 attendees booked onto our maker workshops in order for it to go ahead. Our maximum number for this workshop is 15 attendees per session.
If a workshop is fully booked and you would be interested in joining us, please do contact us, if we have enough interest we will do our best to offer an alternative workshop date or time.
There are two workshops available, one suitable for age 2+ and one for 7+, please make sure to book on the correct one. Both children and adults are welcome to attend and we often have a mix of both.
Cancellation Policy:
Please note we do not offer cancellations on our workshops this is due to us requiring minimum numbers in order to run.
We only offer refunds in circumstances where Pom Stitch Tassel has to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
