Easter Holidays - Children's Advanced Sewing: Create a Wrap Skirt age 7+ 15/04 10am - 12pm

Join us in the Easter Holidays for our children's advanced sewing workshop, this will take place on Saturday 15th April, 10am - 12pm.  

A great workshop to improve on your child's sewing ability and to keep up their skills.  In this advanced 2 hour workshop, we will be creating a wrap skirt.

Please note this involves operating a sewing machine so is only suitable for children age 7 - 17.  This workshop is for advanced sewers, we therefore require your child to already possess basic sewing machine ability as there will not be time to teach this in the class.  

We would recommend that your child undertakes our beginners children sewing course or a one to one lesson if they don't already have a basic sewing machine ability.  

All equipment is supplied for the workshop including the sewing machines and attendees should take home a finished skirt apron as well as an improved sewing ability.  We do not provide materials for sewing workshops so Please bring x1 metre of cotton or polycotton fabric.  

We are limited on space in our workshop room so we do prefer if you are going to stay for the workshop that where possible you do book yourself a place and join in the workshop too.  If this is not feasible, please contact us to let us know you will be staying as an extra and we will do our best to accommodate this. 

Further Information: 

We are a fully DBS checked and insured company, therefore a parent/guardian isn't required to stay with their child.  

Providing the child is age 5 or above you are welcome to drop off and collect them once the workshop finishes.  

We are limited on space in our workshop room so we do prefer if you are going to stay for the workshop that where possible you do book yourself a place and join in the workshop too.  If this is not feasible, please contact us to let us know you will be staying as an extra and we will do our best to accommodate this. 

Emergency Contact Details: 

After booking, we will e-mail you a request to fill out a workshop form. We ask for these details for emergency contact details, knowledge of any medical conditions and/or allergies, as well as permission to take photographs of your child, purely for marketing purposes.  

Once you have filled out this form, you will not need to fill it out again unless your details change.  Please notify us directly if your details do change.  

Please kindly fill out a form for all of your children attending the workshop.  

Please note these details are kept on file safely and secured and will be destroyed appropriately when necessary. 

Location:

All workshops now take place at our new shop, 53 Fore Street, Bovey Tracey, TQ139AB.  Our shop is red and situated two up from Tesco Express, on the main Bovey high street.  If you need to get hold of us please call us on 07864009316.

Where possible please arrive five minutes before the workshop starts and if you are dropping off, please arrive promptly at pick-up. 

Minimum & maximum numbers:

Where possible we always endeavour to run our workshops but sometimes it is not cost effective to do so.  We therefore ask for a minimum of 3 attendees booked onto our sewing workshops in order for it to go ahead.  Our maximum number for sewing workshops is now 6 attendees per session.

If a workshop is fully booked and you would be interested in joining us, please do contact us, if we have enough interest we will do our best to offer an alternative workshop date or time. 

Cancellation Policy:

Please note we do not offer cancellations on our workshops this is due to us requiring minimum numbers in order to run and because we have to order materials and prepare for the workshop in advance.  

Where possible I will try to offer an alternative date or am happy for you to change the name of the booking if you can find someone to fill your space.  Please notify us if someone is coming in your place.

We only offer refunds in circumstances where Pom Stitch Tassel has to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
